Original Story:

Jordan Brand is extending the revived BIN 23 series with the Air Jordan 8, giving the bulky, detail-heavy silhouette its first turn in the premium collection. Following the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 3 released earlier in 2026, this pair shifts the focus to a deep green finish, embossed artwork, and the kind of extras that separate BIN 23 releases from standard retros.

Official images show nearly the entire Air Jordan 8 dressed in green, from the upper and cross-straps to the midsole and outsole. The one-color approach could have flattened a shoe this layered, but the mix of suede, leather, satin-like fabric, and perforated panels keeps each section visible. Slight changes in texture do most of the work instead of contrasting color blocking.

The Air Jordan 8’s signature straps carry an embossed pattern influenced by the African-inspired graphics connected to the original model. That same artwork runs across much of the toe and side panels, giving the upper a carved appearance when viewed up close. “23” branding sits across the straps, while tonal hardware and soft padded sections continue the monochromatic treatment.

Jordan Brand gave each tongue a different finish. One shoe uses a tonal version of the familiar Air Jordan 8 emblem, while the other carries the red BIN23 wax seal that has identified the collection since its original run. The small hit of red stands out against the green without pulling attention away from the materials.
