Fourteen years later, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Pine Green” is finally set for a long-awaited comeback this Holiday 2025. Originally released in 2011, the colorway became a cult favorite during the peak of Foamposite mania—a time when Nike Basketball pushed futuristic design and street credibility in one bold package.
The 2025 reissue captures the metallic green shell with a new iridescent sheen of “Green Goblin” Flightposite vibes. The black nubuck eyestays, jewel Swoosh and translucent outsole nail the OG while refining the overall aesthetic for a cleaner, modern feel. Nice pops of green on the pull tabs and mini Swoosh complete the look.
Nike first previewed the retro during the SNKRS Showcase in July 2025, confirming months of speculation that began late last year.
No longer the floor-stomping juggernaut it once was, Nike’s recent drive (led by the “Galaxy” reissue, along with other archival revamps) has put the silhouette on a path to a strong resurgence. It’s that type of throwback fervor that has Foamposite disciples riled up.
