Original Story:
The “Flint” colorway, which debuted in 1998 as part of the Air Jordan 13s initial run, earned its popularity through its novel approach to Bulls-era Jordan looks. Rather than implementing Chicago-inspired hues, the sneakers utilized reflective navy mesh and Flint Grey suede, finished with clean white leather for an understated look with plenty of late-’90s appeal.
The shoe maintains its previous color scheme of white leather on the toe and tongue contrasted with navy mesh uppers and grey suede around the sole and heel. It also utilizes 3M reflective navy mesh on the upper.
University Blues are very subtle this time around, showing up only on the Jumpman embroidery located on the tongue. Also making a return near the ankle is the iconic hologram jewel. White and grey midsole pods are stacked underneath to finish off this timeless AJ13 silhouette.
